2023-06-21ARM: dts: Move .dts files to vendor sub-directoriesRob Herring
The arm dts directory has grown to 1559 boards which makes it a bit unwieldy to maintain and use. Past attempts stalled out due to plans to move .dts files out of the kernel tree. Doing that is no longer planned (any time soon at least), so let's go ahead and group .dts files by vendors. This move aligns arm with arm64 .dts file structure. There's no change to dtbs_install as the flat structure is maintained on install. The naming of vendor directories is roughly in this order of preference: - Matching original and current SoC vendor prefix/name (e.g. ti, qcom) - Current vendor prefix/name if still actively sold (SoCs which have been aquired) (e.g. nxp/imx) - Existing platform name for older platforms not sold/maintained by any company (e.g. gemini, nspire) The whole move was scripted with the exception of MAINTAINERS and a few makefile fixups. 2020-07-13ARM: dts: imx: default to #pwm-cells = <3> in the SoC dtsi filesUwe Kleine-König
The imx-pwm driver supports 3 cells and this is the more flexible setting. So use it by default and overwrite it back to two for the files that reference the PWMs with just 2 cells to minimize changes. This allows to drop explicit setting to 3 cells for the boards that already depend on this. The boards that are now using 2 cells explicitly can be converted to 3 individually. 2020-01-09ARM: dts: imx6sll-evk: Remove incorrect power supply assignmentAnson Huang
The vdd3p0 LDO's input should be from external USB VBUS directly, NOT PMIC's power supply, the vdd3p0 LDO's target output voltage can be controlled by SW, and it requires input voltage to be high enough, with incorrect power supply assigned, if the power supply's voltage is lower than the LDO target output voltage, it will return fail and skip the LDO voltage adjustment, so remove the power supply assignment for vdd3p0 to avoid such scenario. 2019-06-18ARM: dts: imx6sll: Enable SNVS poweroff according to board designAnson Huang

2019-01-12ARM: dts: imx: replace gpio-key,wakeup with wakeup-source propertySudeep Holla
Most of the legacy "gpio-key,wakeup" and "enable-sdio-wakeup" boolean properties are already replaced with "wakeup-source". However few occurrences of old property has popped up again, probably from the remnants in downstream trees. Almost all of those were remove couple of years back. Replace the legacy properties with the unified "wakeup-source" property introduced in the commit 700a38b27eef ("Input: gpio_keys - switch to using generic device properties") and commit 0dbcdc0622ea ("mmc: core: enable support for the standard "wakeup-source" property") Cc: Fabio Estevam <fabio.estevam@nxp.com> Cc: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org> Cc: NXP Linux Team <linux-imx@nxp.com> Signed-off-by: Sudeep Holla <sudeep.holla@arm.com> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org>

2018-12-10ARM: dts: imx6sl: Fix memory node duplicationFabio Estevam
