2023-06-21ARM: dts: Move .dts files to vendor sub-directoriesRob Herring
The arm dts directory has grown to 1559 boards which makes it a bit unwieldy to maintain and use. Past attempts stalled out due to plans to move .dts files out of the kernel tree. Doing that is no longer planned (any time soon at least), so let's go ahead and group .dts files by vendors. This move aligns arm with arm64 .dts file structure. There's no change to dtbs_install as the flat structure is maintained on install. The naming of vendor directories is roughly in this order of preference: - Matching original and current SoC vendor prefix/name (e.g. ti, qcom) - Current vendor prefix/name if still actively sold (SoCs which have been aquired) (e.g. nxp/imx) - Existing platform name for older platforms not sold/maintained by any company (e.g. gemini, nspire) The whole move was scripted with the exception of MAINTAINERS and a few makefile fixups. 2021-11-15arm: dts: mt6589: Add device tree for Fairphone 1Luca Weiss
Add rudimentary support for the Fairphone 1, based on MT6589 to boot to UART console. The recently added SMP support needs to be disabled for this board as the kernel panics executing /init with it, even though the CPUs seem to start up fine - maybe a stability issue. 2021-03-30arm: mediatek: dts: activate SMP for mt6589Boris Lysov
This simple patch activates SMP for mt6589 by adding the missing "enable-method" property. 2019-01-30ARM: dts: Kill off skeleton{64}.dtsiRob Herring
Remove the usage of skeleton.dtsi in the remaining dts files. It was deprecated since commit 9c0da3cc61f1 ("ARM: dts: explicitly mark skeleton.dtsi as deprecated"). This will make adding a unit-address to memory nodes easier. The main tricky part to removing skeleton.dtsi is we could end up with no /memory node at all when a bootloader depends on one being present. I hacked up dtc to check for this condition. 2017-10-20arm: dts: fix unit-address leading 0sRob Herring
Fix dtc warnings for 'simple_bus_reg' due to leading 0s. Converted using the following command: perl -p -i -e 's/\@0+([0-9a-f])/\@$1/g' `find arch/arm/boot/dts -type -f -name '*.dts*' Dropped changes to ARM, Ltd. boards LED nodes and manually fixed up some occurrences of uppercase hex. 2017-02-07ARM: DTS: Fix register map for virt-capable GICMarc Zyngier
Since everybody copied my own mistake from the DT binding example, let's address all the offenders in one swift go. Most of them got the CPU interface size wrong (4kB, while it should be 8kB), except for both keystone platforms which got the control interface wrong (4kB instead of 8kB). In a few cases where I knew for sure what implementation was used, I've added the "arm,gic-400" compatible string. I'm 99% sure that this is what everyone is using, but short of having the TRM for all the other SoCs, I've left them alone. 2015-01-02ARM: mediatek: Add sysirq in mt6589/mt8135/mt8127 dtsiYingjoe Chen
Add sysirq settings for mt6589/mt8135/mt8127 This also correct timer interrupt flag. The old setting works because boot loader already set polarity for timer interrupt. Without intpol support, the setting was not changed so gic can get the irq correctly. Signed-off-by: Yingjoe Chen <yingjoe.chen@mediatek.com> Signed-off-by: Matthias Brugger <matthias.bgg@gmail.com>

2014-07-22arm: add basic support for Mediatek MT6589 boardsMatthias Brugger
