2019-12-19nfp: tls: implement the stream sync RX resyncJakub Kicinski
The simple RX resync strategy controlled by the kernel does not guarantee as good results as if the device helps by detecting the potential record boundaries and keeping track of them. We've called this strategy stream scan in the tls-offload doc. Implement this strategy for the NFP. The device sends a request for record boundary confirmation, which is then recorded in per-TLS socket state and responded to once record is reached. Because the device keeps track of records passing after the request was sent the response is not as latency sensitive as when kernel just tries to tell the device the information about the next record. 2019-12-10nfp: add support for TLV device statsJakub Kicinski
Device stats are currently hard coded in the PCI BAR0 layout. Add a ability to read them from the TLV area instead. Names for the stats are maintained by the driver, and their meaning documented. This allows us to more easily add and remove device stats. Signed-off-by: Jakub Kicinski <jakub.kicinski@netronome.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2019-06-06nfp: parse crypto opcode TLVJakub Kicinski
Parse TLV containing a bitmask of supported crypto operations. The TLV contains a capability bitmask (supported operations) and enabled bitmask. Each operation describes the crypto protocol quite exhaustively (protocol, AEAD, direction). 2019-06-06nfp: parse the mailbox cmsg TLVJakub Kicinski
Parse the mailbox TLV. When control message queue is not available we can fall back to passing the control messages via the vNIC mailbox. 2018-11-30nfp: add offset to all TLV parsing errorsJakub Kicinski
When troubleshooting incorrect FW capabilities it's useful to know where the faulty TLV is located. Add offset to all errors messages. 2018-11-30nfp: add offloads on representorsJakub Kicinski
FW/HW can generally support the standard networking offloads on representors without any trouble. Add the ability for FW to advertise which features should be available on representors. Because representors are muxed on top of the vNIC we need to listen on feature changes of their lower devices, and update their features appropriately. 2018-02-02nfp: fix TLV offset calculationEdwin Peer
The data pointer in the config space TLV parser already includes NFP_NET_CFG_TLV_BASE, it should not be added again. Incorrect offset values were only used in printed user output, rendering the bug merely cosmetic. 2018-01-19nfp: read mailbox address from TLV capsJakub Kicinski

2018-01-19nfp: read ME frequency from vNIC ctrl memoryJakub Kicinski
PCIe island clock frequency is used when converting coalescing parameters from usecs to NFP timestamps. Most chips don't run at 1200MHz, allow FW to provide us with the real frequency. 2018-01-19nfp: add TLV capabilities to the BARJakub Kicinski
NFP is entirely programmable, including the PCI data interface. Using a fixed control BAR layout certainly makes implementations easier, but require careful considerations when space is allocated. Once BAR area is allocated to one feature nothing else can use it. Allocating space statically also requires it to be sized upfront, which leads to either unnecessary limitation or wastage. We currently have a 32bit capability word defined which tells drivers which application FW features are supported. Most of the bits are exhausted. The same bits are also reused for enabling specific features. Bulk of capabilities don't have a need for an enable bit, however, leading to confusion and wastage. TLVs seems like a better fit for expressing capabilities of applications running on programmable hardware. This patch leaves the front of the BAR as is, and declares a TLV capability start at offset 0x58. Most of the space up to 0x0d90 is already allocated, but the used space can be wrapped with RESERVED TLVs. E.g.: Address Type Length 0x0058 RESERVED 0xe00 /* Wrap basic structures */ 0x0e5c FEATURE_A 0x004 0x0e64 FEATURE_B 0x004 0x0e6c RESERVED 0x990 /* Wrap qeueue stats */ 0x1800 FEATURE_C 0x100 Signed-off-by: Jakub Kicinski <jakub.kicinski@netronome.com> Reviewed-by: Dirk van der Merwe <dirk.vandermerwe@netronome.com> Signed-off-by: David S.
