When operating with multiple devices grouped together, the firmware stores
data related to the state machine of each partner device in the MLO global
memory region. If the firmware crashes, it updates the state to 'crashed'.
During recovery, this memory is shared with the firmware again, and upon
detecting the 'crashed' state, it reasserts. This leads to a loop of
firmware asserts and it never recovers.
Hence to fix this issue, once all devices in the group have been asserted
and powered down, reset the MLO global memory region.

Add ath12k_hw_params for new ath12k AHB based WiFi device IPQ5332.
Some hardware parameters like hw_ops, wmi_init & hal_ops are same
between IPQ5332 and QCN9274, hence use these same parameters for
IPQ5332.

To enable Multi-Link Operation (MLO), QCN9274 firmware requests MLO global
memory (MLO_GLOBAL_MEM_REGION_TYPE). This memory region is shared across all
the firmware (SoC) that are participation in the MLO.
Hence, add support to allocate and free MLO global memory region. Allocate one
MLO global memory per struct ath12k_hw_group and assign the same memory to all
firmware in the same struct ath12k_hw_group. WCN7850 firmware does not request
this memory type, therefore this change will have no impact on WCN7850 device.

QMI host capability has the information regarding MLO parameters such as
device_id, MLO capability, group id and the information of each devices
involved in the group and sent immediately on QMI server arrive event.
Currently, only one device is involved in the group and hence, single
device information is sent as part of MLO capability of host.
But, in future when multi device group abstraction is introduced, host
should send all the device information involved in the group as part
of QMI MLO host capability rather than single device. Hence, sending
QMI host capability immediately on server arrive of a device might not
be ideal for multi device group abstraction as the details of other
devices in the group would not be available.
Hence, once QMI server arrive event is received, request for QMI PHY
capabilities of device, and defer the host capability send for that device.
After QMI PHY capability is received for all the devices in the group
trigger the host capability event for the deferred devices in the group.
Hence, add changes to defer the QMI host capability event until the device
group is ready and then resume the QMI exchange for all the device with
host capabilities.

New parameter 'single_chip_mlo_support' was added in QMI PHY
capability response message. This is an optional parameter added
in QCN9274 firmware. This parameter states if the firmware
supports Single-Link Operation (SLO) and Multi-Link Operation (MLO)
within the same device.
If single_chip_mlo_support = 1, then intra device SLO/MLO is supported
in the firmware.
If single_chip_mlo_support = 0, then intra device SLO/MLO is not
supported in the firmware.
Hence, add support to read 'single_chip_mlo_support' parameter from
the QMI PHY capability response message.

in kernel crash in case DMA remap is not supported:

The reason is:
Once ath12k module is loaded, firmware sends memory request to host. In case
DMA remap not supported, ath12k refuses the first request due to failure in
allocating with large segment size:

Now ath12k is working. If suspend is triggered, firmware will be reloaded
during resume. As same as before, firmware requests two large segments at
first. In ath12k_qmi_msg_mem_request_cb() segment count and size are
assigned:

Then allocation failed like before and ath12k_qmi_free_target_mem_chunk()
is called to free all allocated segments. Note the first segment is skipped
because its v.addr is cleared due to allocation failure:
chunk->v.addr = dma_alloc_coherent()
Also note that this leaks that segment because it has not been freed.
While freeing the second segment, a size of 8454144 is passed to
dma_free_coherent(). However remember that this segment is allocated at
the first time firmware is loaded, before suspend. So its real size is
524288, much smaller than 8454144. As a result kernel found we are freeing
some memory which is in use and thus crashed.
So one possible fix would be to free those segments during suspend. This
works because with them freed, ath12k_qmi_free_target_mem_chunk() does
nothing: all segment addresses are NULL so dma_free_coherent() is not called.
But note that ath11k has similar logic but never hits this issue. Reviewing
code there shows the luck comes from QMI memory reuse logic. So the decision
is to port it to ath12k. Like in ath11k, the crash is avoided by adding
prev_size to target_mem_chunk structure and caching real segment size in it,
then prev_size instead of current size is passed to dma_free_coherent(),
no unexpected memory is freed now.
Also reuse m3 buffer.

Currently only one MHI device is registered successfully on platform
having two or more identical MHI devices. This is beacuse QMI service
runs with identical QRTR node ID. And, qrtr-lookup cannot register
more than one QMI service with identical node ID.
Hence, generate a unique QRTR instance ID from PCIe domain number and
bus number. QMI allows node id to be written on scratch register.
Add logic to write QRTR node id to the register. It is available for
firmware to uniquely identify an instance.

Currently there is no way to collect firmware log because firmware
does not send it to host. Also host does not handle WMI_DIAG_EVENTID
which is used by firmware to upload firmware log.
So add support for it by firstly enabling firmware log upload via a
QMI message, and secondly processing WMI DIAG event to expose it to
userspace via trace event.
This change applies to both WCN7850 and QCN9274.

Currently, the number of PHY is learned from the firmware service ready
event message. However, on the QCN9274 platform, number of PHY is a
variable parameter. To enable MLO capability in the QMI host capability
request message, the driver needs the PHY count information earlier than
the firmware service ready event. Therefore, a new QMI message,
"PHY capability message", is introduced to retrieve this information.
This message allows the driver to fill in the MLO parameter in the QMI
host capability request message. If the new QMI PHY capability message
fails, the default configuration in the HW params will be used.

The PCIe PERST pin is currently pulled down on WCN7850 and it causes
some power leakage.
Fix it by notifying firmware not to pull down PCIe PERST pin in QMI
message for WCN7850.

With current implementation, the calibration data download request, is
sent twice incorrectly because the request for ELF_TYPE and REGDB_TYPE
are handled in a common api ath12k_qmi_load_bdf_qmi.
Add new type as ATH12K_QMI_BDF_TYPE_CALIBRATION to send calibration data
download request as a separate case. With this the firmware is indicated
to read caldata from EEPROM.

Enum value for caldata in QMI_WLANFW_BDF_DOWNLOAD_REQ_V01 is set as 1
which is reserved for BDF_TYPE_ELF. The expected qmi_file_type value
for caldata is 2.

ath12k is a new mac80211 driver for Qualcomm Wi-Fi 7 devices, first
supporting QCN9274 and WCN7850 PCI devices. QCN9274 supports both AP
and station; WCN7850 supports only station mode. Monitor mode is not
(yet) supported. Only PCI bus devices are supported.
ath12k is forked from an earlier version of ath11k. It was simpler to
have a "clean start" for the new generation and not try to share the
code with ath11k. This makes maintenance easier and avoids major
changes in ath11k, which would have significantly increased the risk
of regressions in existing setups.
ath12k uses le32 and cpu_to_le32() macros to handle endian
conversions, instead of using the firmware byte swap feature utilized
by ath11k. There is only one kernel module, named ath12k.ko.
Currently ath12k only supports HE mode (IEEE 802.11ax) or older, but
work is ongoing to add EHT mode (IEEE 802.11be) support.
The size of the driver is ~41 kLOC and 45 files. To make the review
easier, this initial version of ath12k does not support Device Tree,
debugfs or any other extra features. Those will be added later, after
ath12k is accepted to upstream.
The driver is build tested by Intel's kernel test robot with both GCC
and Clang. Sparse reports no warnings. The driver is mostly free of
checkpatch warnings, albeit few of the warnings are omitted on
purpose, list of them here:
