All Skov i.MX8MP boards share the same baseboard (modulo revisions)
and are booted with the same bootloader image, which samples some
strapping pins at startup and determines which kernel device tree
to use.
For use as bootloader device tree and as fallback, when no matching
device tree has been found, add a basic variant that doesn't configure
any variant-specific peripherals like displays.

Add Toradex Verdin Ivy carrier board support. One notable feature of Ivy
is the analog inputs. These inputs are multiplexed, allowing the same
input to measure either voltage or current. For current measurements,
a GPIO switch enables or disables the shunt resistor. This process is
automatically managed by the Linux kernel using the IIO and MUX
subsystems. Voltage measurement is always enabled, but the voltage
measured by the ADC is scaled by a cascade voltage divider. In the
device tree, the equivalent gain of the voltage divider is used, which
can be calculated as follows:

While we typically do not change compatibles, the GW7905 was never

The devicetree files can be (re-)used in u-boot now, they are imported
on a regular basis (see OF_UPSTREAM option) there. Up until now, it
didn't matter for linux and there was just a combined devicetree
"-var3-ads2" (with ads2 being the carrier board). But if the devicetree
files are now reused in u-boot, we need to have an individual "-var3"
variant, because the bootloader is just using the bare "varN" devicetree
files. Split the "var3" off of the "-var3-ads2" devicetree.

This commit adds device tree support for the NXP S32G3-based
S32G-VNP-RDB3 Board [1].
The S32G3 features an 8-core ARM Cortex-A53 based SoC developed by NXP.
The device tree files are derived from the official NXP downstream
Linux tree [2].
This addition encompasses a limited selection of peripherals that
are upstream-supported. Apart from the ARM System Modules
(GIC, Generic Timer, etc.), the following IPs have been validated:
* UART: fsl-linflexuart
* SDHC: fsl-imx-esdhc
Clock settings for the chip rely on ATF Firmware [3].
Pin control integration into the device tree is pending and currently
relies on Firmware/U-Boot settings [4].
These changes were validated using BSP39 Firmware/U-Boot from NXP [5].
The modifications enable booting the official Ubuntu 22.04 from NXP on
the RDB3 with default settings from the SD card and eMMC.

Add support for the new version, v1.2, of Apalis Evaluation Board.
Because only imx8-apalis-eval.dtsi was available and used as the only
board configuration for board version v1.0 and v1.1, it was changed to
be the common hardware configurations for all versions v1.0,
v1.1 and v1.2. Also, two .dtsi board files were added to have the
differences by board. The .dts were organized by SoM and board version.
Board versions v1.0 and v1.1 are compatible with each other and should
use imx8qm-apalis-eval.dts file or imx8qm-apalis-v1.1-eval.dts file
depending on SoM version. Now for v1.2, organized by SoM version too, the
files are imx8qm-apalis-eval-v1.2.dts and imx8qm-apalis-v1.1-eval-v1.2.dts.
