The hdmi@3d node's compatible string is "adi,adv7535" instead of "adi,adv7533" or "adi,adv751*". Pull SoC DT updates from Arnd Bergmann: "About a quarter of the changes are for 32-bit arm, mostly filling in device support for existing machines and adding minor cleanups, mostly for Qualcomm and Samsung based machines. Two new 32-bit SoCs are added, both are quad-core Cortex-A7 chips from Rockchips that have been around for a while but were lacking kernel support so far: RV1126 is a Vision SoC with an NPU and is used in the Edgeble Neural Compute Module 2(Neu2) board, while RK3128 is design for TV boxes and so far only comes with a dts for its refernece design. The other 32-bit boards that were added are two ASpeed AST2600 based BMC boards, the Microchip sam9x60_curiosity development board (Armv5 based!), the Enclustra PE1 FPGA-SoM baseboard, and a few more boards for i.MX53 and i.MX6ULL. On the RISC-V side, there are fewer patches, but a total of ten new single-board computers based on variations of the Allwinner D1/T113 chip, plus one more board based on Microchip Polarfire. As usual, arm64 has by far the most changes here, with over 700 non-merge changesets, among them over 400 alone for Qualcomm. 2023-01-01arm64: dts: imx8mp: move PCIe controller clock config to SoC dtsiLucas Stach
The only difference in PCIe clock configuration between boards is how the PCIe reference clock is generated. The refclock configuration is fully contained in the PCIe PHY node, so the PCIe controller clocks can be set up in the SoC dtsi, as there is no reason for any board to use a different configuration. Pull ARM SoC DT updates from Arnd Bergmann: "The devicetree changes contain exactly 1000 non-merge changesets, including a number of new arm64 SoC variants from Qualcomm and Apple, as well as the Renesas r9a07g043f/u chip in both arm64 and riscv variants. While we have occasionally merged support for non-arm SoCs in the past, this is now the normal path for riscv devicetree files. The most notable changes, by SoC platform, are: - The Apple T6000 (M1 Pro), T6001 (M1 Max) and T6002 (M1 Ultra) chips now have initial support. This is particularly nice as I am typing this on a T6002 Mac Studio with only a small number of driver patches. - Qualcomm MSM8996 Pro (Snapdragon 821), SM6115 (Snapdragon 662), SM4250 (Snapdragon 460), SM6375 (Snapdragon 695), SDM670 (Snapdragon 670), MSM8976 (Snapdragon 652) and MSM8956 (Snapdragon 650) are all mobile phone chips that are closely related to others we already support. Adding those helps support more phones and we add several models from Sony (Xperia 10 IV, 5 IV, X, and X compact), OnePlus (One, 3, 3T, and Nord N100), Xiaomi (Poco F1, Mi6), Huawei (Watch) and Google (Pixel 3a). There are also new variants of the Herobrine and Trogdor chromebook motherboards. SA8540P is an automotive SoC used in the Qdrive-3 development platform - Rockchips gains no new SoC variants, but a lot of new boards: three mobile gaming systems based on RK3326 Odroid-Go/rg351 family, two more Anbernic gaming systems based on RK3566 and a number of other RK356x based single-board computers. - Renesas RZ/G2UL (r9a07g043) was already supported for arm64, but as the newly added RZ/Five is based on the same design, this now gets reorganized in order to share most of the dts description between the two and add the RZ/Five SMARC EVK board support. Aside from that, there are the usual changes all over the tree: - New boards on other platforms contain two ASpeed BMC users, two Broadcom based Wifi routers, Zyxel NSA310S NAS, the i.MX6 based Kobo Aura2 ebook reader, two i.MX8 based development boards, two Uniphier Pro5 development boards, the STM32MP1 testbench board from DHCOR, the TI K3 based BeagleBone AI-64 board, and the Mediatek Helio X10 based Sony Xperia M5 phone. - The Starfive JH7100 source gets reorganized in order to support the VisionFive V1 board. - Minor updates and cleanups for Intel SoCFPGA, Marvell PXA168, TI, ST, NXP, Apple, Broadcom, Juno, Marvell MVEBU, at91, nuvoton, Tegra, Mediatek, Renesas, Hisilicon, Allwinner, Samsung, ux500, spear, ... As before, there are a ton of style cleanups, and additional hardware support for existing machines. Looking only at the new SoC, the notable additions are: - A whole family of Broadcom broadband SoCs, both 32-bit and 64-bit: BCM63178, BCM63158, BCM4912, BCM6858, BCM6878, BCM6846, BCM63146, BCM6856, BCM6855, BCM6756, BCM63148, and BCM6813. 2022-06-27arm64: dts: imx8mp-evk: correct the uart2 pinctl valueSherry Sun
According to the IOMUXC_SW_PAD_CTL_PAD_UART2_RXD/TXD register define in imx8mp RM, bit0 and bit3 are reserved, and the uart2 rx/tx pin should enable the pull up, so need to set bit8 to 1. The original pinctl value 0x49 is incorrect and needs to be changed to 0x140, same as uart1 and uart3. 2022-02-21arm64: dts: imx8mp-evk: add support for I2C5Hugo Villeneuve
Add support for i2c5, which is used to access the external I2C bus on connector J22 of the imx8mp-evk. Limit the speed to 100kHz since this is an external I2C bus. Disabled by default, since it is shared with the CAN1 bus. To enable i2c5, you need to disable the CAN1 function, enable the i2c5 function and also configure the CAN1/I2C5_SEL GPIO to HIGH to select i2c5 instead of CAN1. Eqos ethernet support five queues on hardware, enable these queues and configure the priority of each queue. Uses Strict Priority as scheduling algorithms to ensure that the TSN function works. The priority of each queue is a bitmask value that maps VLAN tag priority to the queue. Since the hardware only supports five queues, this patch maps priority 0-4 to queues one by one, and priority 5-7 to queue 4. The total fifo size of 5 queues is 8192 bytes, if enable 5 queues with store-and-forward mode, it's not enough for large packets, which would trigger fifo overflow frequently. This patch set DMA to thresh mode to enable all 5 queues. Different revision of i.MX8MP EVK boards may have different external pull up registor design, some are enabled while some are NOT, to make sure the WDOG_B pin works properly, better to enable internal pull up resistor. Since enabling internal pull up resistor is NOT harmful and having benefit of flexibility on different board design, just enable it for all i.MX8MP boards; And schmitt input is NOT necessary for this WDOG_B output pin, so remove it; Open drain outputs provide more flexibility to a designer as they can be pulled-up to any voltage found in the system, so enable it as well.
